Friends of the Shelter is a community of compassionate supporters dedicated to making a difference for the animals at the Humane Society of Midland County year-round. From the moment an animal arrives, your support helps provide food, medical care, enrichment, comfort and a safe place to rest while they wait for a home.
Your Impact Reaches Beyond the Shelter
When you become a Friend of the Shelter, you’re also helping people in our community. Programs like our Pet Pantry, Animal/Human Bond, low-cost vaccine clinic, Papa’s Pups and Rhoda’s Fund help families facing difficult situations keep and care for the pets they love.
In 2025 alone, our programs saved pet owners more than $100,000 in Midland County and beyond.
